Hi guys! As we're going into the colder months, a whole array of skincare issues are coming along with that wind, rain and plummeting temperatures. Goodbye summer glow and hello dry skin! Thankfully, today I have a couple of products to share with you all that should help you out with these exact issues - the Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and the Nourish Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm.
Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm |
The Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum is a Vitamin C serum to hydrate and repair the skin whilst helping to retain that long-lost summer glow. I have reviewed one of the Nourish Peptide Serum's before (the Nourish Radiance Rejuvenating Peptide Serum) and all of their Peptide Serum range does have ingredient similarities with their unique extra benefits. This one in particular contains the range's signature tripeptides for collagen production, hyaluronic acid for that shot of super-hydration and antioxidant Vitamin C derived from lemon, mandarin and orange essential oils to help to protect against free radicals.
The Nourish Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm is everything that you could ever need in one. It cleanses the skin, decongests pores, can act as a deeply nourishing face mask and can even be used as an intensive moisturiser. It contains a blend of plant based oils (macadamia, jojoba, coconut, rosehip, kale, sunflower, pumpkin, tea, geranium, borage, ginger, rosemary and sesame) that work together to melt away impurities, refine, nourish, moisturise and also to protect against free radical damage.
As with all other Nourish products, both the Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm are vegan, cruelty free and made with natural, organic ingredients.

The Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum comes packaged in a 30ml sized glass bottle with a twist, pump lid. The serum itself is a light yellow in colour and is a very lightweight, watery-gel like serum.
To use, apply a small amount to the face after cleansing and toning and massage in to the skin. It glides across the skin with ease and absorbs easily also. It is targeted more at normal-dry skin, so if you have particularly oily skin then this would definitely be better for nighttime use rather than day time use as it will leave a shine. It is still great for oily skin as oily skin needs hydration too!

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and it has been really helping with the dry patches on my skin that have been appearing now that the weather has turned cold again. It has also helped to keep that summer glow that we all love, keeping my skin looking happy, hydrated and healthy.

The Nourish Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm comes in two sizes; a 15ml sized jar and a 50ml sized jar. Both sizes come in a glass jar with a metal, silver screw cap lid. The balm itself is a thick yellow, akin to other balms of this type. This balm also comes with an organic face cloth that can be used to remove the product, adding gentle exfoliating and polishing effects.
My favourite use for this balm is as a cleanser. To use, apply a small amount of balm to damp skin and massage in a circular motion, paying specific attention to the most congested areas of skin such as the t-zone. Take the cloth and gently buff and polish the skin before removing with warm water. This can also be an amazing makeup remover when used in this manner too and when using the cloth it exfoliates the skin really well.

To use as a mask, apply the balm to cleansed skin and leave on for around 20 minutes or even overnight. Rinse off with warm water (again, you can use the included cloth to help with removal here also). As a moisturiser, apply this balm to any drier patches of skin or even use as a lip balm, cuticle cream or as a highlighter on the cheekbones.
I am such a huge fan of balms such as this one, so I love being able to use it as a cleanser but also to help significantly with dry patches that I tend to get around my chin and nose during the winter. I also love using it as an intensive lip balm at night time and also to help with my hands which tend to get very, very dry and cracked in the cold.
I know that it is no secret that I am a huge fan of Nourish skincare products and I am so happy to add these to my collection. Using the Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm as a cleanser and also as a moisturiser during this time of year has been such a skin saviour. During the summer it may be better to cut back to just cleanser use (unless you have generally very dry skin all year round), but right now it's a staple in my skincare routine for sure.
Following up the use of the balm with the Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum helps to add a new level of hydration benefits whilst the Vitamin C also does wonders to brighten the skin and to revive that lost glow of the warmer months. To top it off, it smells divine!
