Hey guys! I reviewed a Bio Balance product in my last post (the Bio Balance Super Serum Hyaluronic 3D) and at the end of the post I had a little spoiler about what was coming next. Well today I have another Bio Balance product to share with you all; the Bio Balance Eyelash Growth Serum.

The Eyelash Growth Serum is a serum that is designed to help brittle eyelashes, helping them to grow longer, stronger and with more volume. Despite being called an Eyelash Growth Serum, this serum can also help to with eyebrows, which would be particularly good for those with sparser brows. Bio Balance claim that this can naturally give your lashes three times more volume in just two weeks. 

The Bio Balance Eyelash Growth Serum contains their patented Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 complex that helps to stimulate eyelash growth by boosting the formation of hair bulb cells.

It comes packaged in a small gold tube with a twist cap that contains a long, thin brush - think along the lines of liquid eyeliner. The tube contains 6ml of serum and the product itself is clear in colour with a watery consistency.

To apply, you need to use the brush to apply a small amount of serum to the base of the lashes (and eyebrows if you want to treat them too) either once or twice a day. The serum is easy enough to apply, but I definitely recommend using a mirror. It isn't impossible to apply without a mirror, but it also isn't as straightforward. It's also a good idea to give the brush a good wipe on the side of the bottle before applying as it is quite watery. If there is too much on the brush, your eyes will know about it!

I have been using it only in the evening rather than in the morning too, so it has been incorporated into my night time skin routine for the past month to give it a good test run. Upon awakening I have been noticing that there can be a crusty residue on the lash line that can be a little tricky to remove. It isn't super noticeable unless you apply makeup, in which case it is like when you apply makeup to dry skin and it highlights it. I recommend holding a warm face cloth over the eyes for a moment before gently wiping until it has gone. 

After a month of use I have definitely seen results. They have been more subtle, but I can personally see the difference due to knowing my own lashes. As you can see from the before and after photos, there is a slight increase in the length of my lashes, making them look more fluttery than before. What the photos don't show is that they do feel slightly stronger also. There isn't a huge difference in strength, but any amount of improvement is improvement. There isn't an obvious increase in volume, but the length is definitely there. Perhaps with more time the volume will also come too, but after a month of use I can only show that there is a definite improvement in length.

I would say that if you are wishing that your lashes were stronger and longer, this Eyelash Growth Serum is worth a try, especially if you are wanting longer lashes over everything else.
