Hi guys! I'm here today with another natural skincare duo. Regular readers will most likely know that I have a soft spot for natural skincare and I love products that are good for the environment as well as for the skin, so I'm really happy to be bringing another natural skincare brand to the blog.
Nourish London Skincare Kale 3D Cleanse and Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser |
Nourish is a British brand that focuses on organic, vegan and cruelty-free skincare. The two products that I have to show you today are the Nourish Kale 3D Cleanse and the Nourish Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser.
The Kale 3D Cleanse is a unique, colour changing facial cleanser that provides you with a deep cleanse that removes impurities and makeup, refreshes the skin and protects against pollution. It contains Supercharged Kale and Griffonia to detoxify the skin, minimise signs of ageing and to protect against pollutants as well as Hyaluronic acid, oxygenating extracts and probiotics to refresh and energise.
The Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser is created as an anti-ageing, hydrating moisturiser, suitable for all skin types. It includes a blend of skin nourishing oils such as jojoba, sunflower and most importantly, argan. It also includes a blend of essential oils (discussed further on in the review), Vitamin E and collagen boosting tripeptides.
Both products are multi-award winning with the Kale 3D Cleanse holding the Gold Award as Best Cleanser from The Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2017 accolade amongst others and the Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser sporting the Best Anti-Ageing product achievement from The Beauty Bible Awards 2015 alongside others.
Both the Kale 3D Cleanse and the Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser come packaged in sleek, glass bottles with twist open pump lids (which cuts down on plastic waste for lid covers). The Kale 3D Cleanse holds either 30ml or 100ml of product and the Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser holds 50ml. The packaging on both looks and feels luxurious with a weight to them.
I'm going to begin by discussing the Kale 3D Cleanse and then I will move onto the Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser.
Nourish Kale 3D Cleanse

To use the Kale 3D Cleanse, apply onto damp skin and massage as the cleanser changes colour to green. Remove the cleanser with warm water and pat dry.
The first thing that I noticed about the Kale 3D Cleanse was that this face wash has a very strong, herbaceous scent to it (which makes sense as it's a kale face wash). It's personally one of my favourite things about the product as I love herby skincare products for the added fresh-factor.
The colour changing factor is rather quirky but not necessarily unique to this cleanser as I do know of others that have similar traits to them. It is, however, useful for knowing that it's getting to work. After massaging into the skin, this cleanser is pretty easy to remove despite it being a cream product; some cream cleansers can take a little longer to remove than a gel one.

I do find with some creamier cleansers that you can get that extra-soft finish but it can require sacrificing that "super clean" feeling you can get from other types of cleansers. This one is one of those that provides both. The skin is left feeling both incredibly smooth and also fresh and clean.
The skin feels deeply cleansed and does not come with any discomfort, redness, tightness or dryness. Sometimes a good cleanser can feel as if you've over-cleansed, but this one really hits that balance perfectly. Also, speaking of balance, this wash doesn't over-moisturise either so it leaves even oily skin feeling clean and not greasy.
I can see how it has won the awards that it has, I'm incredibly impressed by it! It's become my go-to cleanser for both morning and evening at the moment so I highly recommend giving this one a try.
Nourish Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser

The Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser is part of the Argan ingredient collection. Also, although it's contained within the Argan umbrella which utilises the power of argan oil, it does also contain jojoba, sunflower, borage and rosehip carrier oils, all of which are greatly moisturising and hydrating oils and they're blended with a selection of beneficial essential oils such as Abyssinian kale, frankincense and myrrh as well as extracts of ginger, aloe vera and rose of Jericho.
When applying after cleansing and toning, this moisturiser absorbs into the skin quite quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling to it. However, I did get a shine breakthrough after a few hours. With that said, I have this issue with every moisturiser out there so I don't put it down to the moisturiser itself being the problem, it's just my oily skin.

For those of us with normal or dry skin you will likely have no issues with this, but if you have oily or combination skin and feel that it is too heavy for day wear then you may still want to check this out for a night lotion as the restorative effects are really great. I have been using it mostly at night and I love the results that I wake up to in the morning when I do so.
If you have acne-prone skin, I did do a little research for you on the Nourish website. Under the acne-prone products heading, they do feature the Kale 3D Cleanse, but as a moisturiser they recommend the Balance Essential Moisturiser. Therefore, if you are concerned about the moisturiser being too heavy for your skin, then you have another option to check out!
And there we have it!
Overall I'm really enjoying these products. I'm particularly in love with the Kale 3D Cleanse as it leaves the skin feeling so incredibly clean, soft and hydrated. A true deep cleanse without any skin discomfort, a fair price tag, it looks and feels luxurious both inside and outside of the bottle and it's better for the environment.
The Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser may be better suited for normal-dry skin, but it still remains beneficial for those with oilier skin. Those of us with the latter skin type may prefer to use it at night as it may be a little heavy for the day, but Nourish also have moisturiser options that you may wish to check out as an alternative for day wear.
If you'd like to get your hands on the Nourish Kale 3D Cleanse and the Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser then you can find them at Naturisimo and the Nourish website.
