Hey guys! It’s been a while since I got to write a nail polish post, but I’ve got one for you today!

As we come into spring, it’s nice to bring out a lovely spring shade for your nails. I like pastels and nude shades during the spring, so today I’ve got an interesting nude nail polish to show you (I'll explain why it's interesting as we go). 

The APN Always Perfect Nails nail polish promises to be fast drying with a non-chip finish. It is free of Toulene and DBP 01 and is scented with pomegranate to leave the nails smelling sweet. It comes in a wide range of shades including some glitter nail polish shades too.

Each shade comes packaged in a clear glass bottle with the product logo printed on in black. It has a rounded black handle with a thin brush. 

Application and Results:

The brush for this nail polish is very thin, so if you prefer a one swipe brush that fans out then you might not like the brush too much. I actually really love it though because whilst it takes a little longer to apply, I feel that it gives you the ability to control where the polish goes, meaning neater sides. Maybe this is a personal preference thing, but I just prefer the option of making my application as neat as possible over the speed of it.  

The shade to me is very interesting. Online I thought I was choosing a grey shade, but I’m person it seems more of a very light brown. Once on, in some lights it appears to be a beige brown. In others, it looks grey and in others a dusky lilac. Therefore, I don’t know how to fully describe this shade. All of them look nice though.

It has great pigmentation. On some nails it was pretty opaque in one coat, and others slightly less. Therefore I’d say it’s a solid two coater as two coats had everything down.

It takes an average amount of time to dry even though it's advertised as a fast dryer, but it's not slower than your standard nail polishes either. A quick dry spray or fast dry top coat will speed up that process if you’re in a rush. Once dry though, it has good longevity. Mine has been on for a few days now and I only have one very tiny chip in the corner of one nail that’s barely visible. (Side note: If you can see the crack across one nail in the photos in this post then I do apologise. I broke my nail before I could take the photos and I tried to make it less visible as possible but I wanted to get the photos done before I end up chopping my nails back down thanks to the broken one!)

With that said, I do really like this nail polish. I haven't used this brand before but I am impressed with the quality and I would happily check out more of the shades. They have a wide shade range so you can find something that is perfect for all seasons and/or occasions. If you're not so keen on this particular nude shade, they do have other nude shades that you may be interested in instead.

On top of that, they are also really affordable for the quality that you get. They also have base coats and top coats available.
