Benefit Roller Lash Mascara review

Benefit’s new Roller Lash mascara is an ink black, water-resistant, satin finish mascara that provides instant length and curl to even the shortest and straightest of lashes.

Benefit Roller Lash mascara

It contains a Hook & Roll brush that is created to act like a hair roller for eyelashes. The bristles contain little hooks that are placed to grab at the lashes, separate and curl them as the formula sets the curve into place for up to 12 hours.

The Roller Lash formula also includes Serin and Pro Vitamin B5 to condition the lashes.

It comes packaged in a sleek, black tube with a baby pink, screw cap lid that is designed to look like a hair roller.

I currently have the sample that was included in my March Birchbox which looks slightly different to the full-size, but if you click here to go to the Benefit website, you can see the proper packaging.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Range

The Body Shop are soon to be introducing a new collection of products to their already vast selection: the Fuji Green Tea range.

It is inspired by the use of green tea in bathing to detoxify the skin, something that Japanese women have been doing for generations.
The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Range
"We all know that green tea has antioxidant qualities. With its detoxifying health benefits, green tea has been revered for over 400 years in social and cultural activities, including the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

But did you know that some Japanese women apply it to their skin and bathe in it? It’s a skincare secret that’s been part of beauty regimes for generations, believed to help retain moisture and tighten pores.

We’ve taken this knowledge a step further, creating Fuji Green Tea™ range, the first body range infused with real green tea leaves and their benefits. We’ve been picky though, quite literally. Our green tea comes from the heartland of Japan, the pristine Mount Fuji region. Here, our experts hand-pick the finest shoots to capture the potent antioxidant power. We infuse this in to our range to replenish and refresh with pure moisture for healthier-feeling skin." (Source - The Body Shop  Fuji Green Tea range press release)

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Velvet Stick in Poppy Bronze review

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Velvet Sticks are The Body Shop’s first chubby sticks that provide a natural flush of colour to the cheeks and the lips. The easy to use sticks provide a matte finish with a velvety texture. They come in a range of five shades.

Despite the matte finish, the Lip & Cheek Velvet Sticks each contain Community Fair Trade marula oil (the same type that is used in The Body Shop Beautifying Oils) that leave the lips and cheeks feeling soft and hydrated.

I picked myself up the shade Poppy Bronze (the other shades include Poppy Nude, Poppy Coral, Poppy Red and Poppy Pink) which is a natural-pink type of shade that contains a subtle golden sparkle.

Lush Bath Bombs - Secret Garden and Rose Queen reviews

Lush is a cosmetic company that provide an entire range of handmade products, from bar soaps to bath bombs, perfume to makeup, Lush’s collection is huge. If you haven’t already heard of them then I am admittedly incredibly surprised.

One of the most exciting range of products available at Lush is their bath bombs. With quirky names and colours, every bath bomb is designed to fit a different need or purpose. Each one includes natural essential oils and some include little surprises such as flower petals or extra layers.

Today I have two of these bath bombs to discuss, demonstrate and review: Secret Garden from the Mother’s Day range and Rose Queen. They have a lot of similarities, both being floral-themed/scented bombs with extra surprises, so I felt that putting them in a post together made sense!

(In addition to this review, there will be future Lush bath bomb posts on the way also!)
