The Body Shop Lip Line Fixer is a moisturising and creamy retractable lip-lining pencil that enables you to apply an invisible barrier around the lips to prevent lipstick from bleeding. It also helps to 'fill in' fine lines around the lips.
Unlike regular lip liners which come in differing shades to match up with your lipstick, The Body Shop Lip Line Fixer doesn’t apply a visible line, meaning that it is suitable with all lip shades.
It comes packaged in a long, black, plastic, retractable, pencil-like tube with a black lid that holds 0.35g of product. The product itself is white and waxy.
Application:
To apply, you need to carefully run the pencil along the outline of your lips to create a barrier before applying your lipstick.
When I first began to apply this Lip Line Fixer, I noticed tugging on the lips. This tugging can make application difficult, so I gave it a quick warm up first and it applies a lot easier.
As it's invisible, it's a good idea to have a plan with your application. Remember where you're going to start and end or else you may miss places and go over others unnecessarily.
Results:
To give this Lip Line Fixer a thorough test run there is one particular lipstick that I have to test it out with: Avon's Ultra Colour Indulgence Lipstick in Red Dahlia.
I don't usually have issues with my lipstick bleeding, but as you can see on my review of the Avon Ultra Colour Indulgence Lipstick in Red Dahlia, bleeding was a problem.
The good news? It worked a treat!
Even though the invisibility of the product can make it feel as if you haven't actually applied anything, the results are certainly noticeable. I can now get through an entire day without any bleeding from my Avon Ultra Colour Indulgence Lipstick, which is brilliant! The lips stayed looking freshly applied rather than untidy and I was left a happy customer!

I think that The Body Shop Lip Line Fixer is a fantastic product, especially for those who own a whole range of lipsticks. Instead of having to purchase a collection of lip liners in differing shades, you can have one universal product to work with them all.
The only real problem that I've had with this product is trying to take it out of the plastic packaging. Maybe I had a stubborn one, but it took a long time to finally manage to remove it entirely. In fact, during my first use I just left half of it on, only managing to remove the top bit where the lid is!

I love the sound of this! I don't think I've ever seen this in The Body Shop, definitely one I'll be looking out for as I hate it when lipstick bleeds and feather. I have a couple of darker shades that I love but dont wear for this reason so this would be perfect x

It actually took me a while to find it in store! Someone may be able to help, but it is a lot easier to find online! :)
